Linda Anne Beck

Linda Anne Beck, age 74, of Smyrna, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2022. Linda was born Friday, November 28, 1947 in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. She is preceeded in death by her mother, Dorothy O'Brien Magness, and father, Victor Beck.

She is survived by a family that loved her to the very end. Aunt Beverly Carmack (Bob), Favorite cousin, Jennifer Pickler Bement, (Lance), 2nd favorite cousin, Christina Gregg Funderfurke (Stephen), second cousins, John Pickler, Jr (Kaitlyn), James Pickler, (Ashley), Trey Funderburke, Alyssa Funderburke and third cousin, Caden Pickler.

Linda Anne was a member of Woodmont Baptist Church with her mother, for over 40 years. She was an instrumental advocate in the 1970's helping pass several handicap right bills in the state of Tennessee. She also received 2 Medal of Merit's, one from President Ronald Reagan, and one President George W. Bush for her role in the handicap community. She loved her bears Snug, Lily and Rosie and was a big Mickey Mouse fan. She loved people, and when you became her friend, it was for life. She will be greatly missed and remain in our hearts forever. ‘

A celebration of life for Linda will be held Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Mt Olivet Cemetery, 1101 Lebanon Pike, Nashville, TN 37210.
