Larry Harris Garrett

Preceded in death by his parents, Julia Harris and William Clayton Garrett. Survived by loving wife, Rhonda King Garrett; three daughters, Kelly (Bradford) Hancock, Diana (Orsorio) Jackson and Caroline (Tyler) Andrews; sister, Jill Garrett-Roy (Doug); brothers, Jerry (Carrin) Garrett, Donald (Susan) Garrett and Jeff (Margaret) Garrett; ten grandchildren, Ainsley, Garrett, Ladd, Nina, Abbey, Isaac, Ewan, Wyatt, Elias and Vivien.

Served in the U.S. Army 1966 – 1968 Augsburg, Germany. His business skills were initially developed during his tour of duty, which gave him a focus when he returned to college on the GI Bill. Larry graduated Sigma Chi at Middle Tennessee State University – Bachelor’s Degree in Business.

Pallbearers serving will be son-in-laws, Bradford Hancock, Orsorio Jackson and Tyler Andrews; friends, Gary Thompson, Bruce Jenkins and Rich Van Zyl. Honorary pallbearers, Jerry Garrett, Donald Garrett, Jeff Garrett and Bill Bell.

Celebration of Life Service will be Monday, April 9, 2018 at one o’clock in the afternoon, Baskin Chapel - Brentwood Baptist Church – 7777 Concord Road, Brentwood, TN 37027. Gathering of family and friends will be in the Atrium of Brentwood Baptist Church on Monday from eleven in the morning until the service.
