Mr. Chapman was born in Nashville, TN, on December 11, 1954, the son of Lillian Joyce Isham Chapman and the late Henry Keller Chapman, Sr. He retired from Metro Nashville Police Department after thirty years of service. Mr. Chapman will be remembered for his generosity and his sense of humor.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Ridener Chapman, to whom he was married on January 8, 1997; four daughters, Kristin (Matt) Davis, Kelley (Lee) Rankin, Melody Burr, and Mandy (Steve) Johnson; nine grandchildren, Danielle Burr, Phoenix Johnson, Molly Johnson, Savannah Chapman, Aiden Burr, Ethan Rankin, Elliott Davis, Carter Rankin, and Aaron Davis; and a brother, Henry Keller Chapman, Jr. (Julia).
A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, June 16, 2016, at two thirty, Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall with Josh Barnett officiating. A private interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Wednesday from four o’clock until eight o’clock at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
