Karen Elaine Tankersley, age 53 of Nashville, passed away on Sunday, April 15th, 2018. Karen was born in Nashville to Siddie Virginia Cheatham and the late Robert Lee Cheatham on February 11, 1965.
Along with her mother, she is survived by her husband, John Tankersley; daughters, Olivia Langdon and Mariah Tankersley; sons, Cody Tankersley and Brent Tankersley; sisters, Jennell (Doug) Pirtle, Dianne Letner, Sheila Burnette, brother, David (Julie) Cheatham; brother-in-law, Mark Tankersley; sister-in-law, Kathy Whisenant; nephews, Bryan Pirtle, Keith Johnson-Sisk, Kyle Sisk, Alex Cheatham, Tanner Cheatham; nieces, Amy Harrison, Kimberly Dowlen, and Holly Hilgadiack.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 19th at 2:00pm from Hermitage United Methodist Church (205 Belinda Drive) with interment to follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
