Daughter of the late John Eugene Garrison and Maxine Lavada Garrison, she was born in Sacramento, CA on October 26, 1951. She attended Glencliff High School in Nashville and graduated in 1970. After graduating, she worked for Bellsouth for 30 years. Her life was devoted to her family, and she delighted most in her sons and grandsons.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by siblings James Garrison and Diana Roland and brother-in-law Rody Rhodes. In heaven she reunites with her infant son, Milton Perry Brummett, Jr. born in 1973.
She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Milton Brummett, Sr.; sons, Milton (Amber) Brummett, III, of Nashville and Eric (Rebekah) Brummett of White House; grandsons, Milton Brummett, IV, Jared Brummett and Brody Brummett; sisters, Jeri Rhodes, Sheryl (Billy) Huffines, Lisa Keltner, Lori (Russ) Chandler; brothers John (Jamie) Garrison and Joe (Lydia) Garrison, and several nieces and nephews.
In honor of her love and dedication her husband, sons, and grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will take place at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Lane, Nashville, TN 37204, on Tuesday, July 26th from 4pm to 8pm and Wednesday, July 27th from 10am until the hour of service at 11am.
