Judith M Farmer

Judith married Horace L. Farmer on June 8, 1957, at Bellshire Methodist Church in Nashville, Tennessee. She was a buyer at Robert Orr/Sysco, then sales at Wisconsin Tissue, Bass Pro Shop, and Staples. Judith was a loving wife, caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was loved instantly by everyone who met her. Judith loved to travel more than anything. It could be a mile down the road, across the country, or internationally, it didn’t matter. She and Horace would take off and go, it didn’t matter where. Planes, trains, Cruise ships, and cars were all fair game. She loved seeing her great-grandchildren most of all. They were the apple of her eye.

She is survived by her sons, Daryl (Jennifer) Farmer and Jimmy (Kristie Lakins) Farmer; grandchildren, Daniel Farmer and Erica Farmer; great-grandchildren Elijah, Rylee, and Addalyn; brothers, David Gibbs, Martin Gibbs, Terry Gibbs; sister, Nancy Farmer; and extended family Bellamy, Finnick, Tori and Cruz.

Other than her parents Judith is preceded in death by her husband, Horace L. Farmer; and brother, Wade Gibbs.

A gathering of family and friends for Judith will be held Sunday, February 25, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204. A celebration of life will occur Monday, February 26, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204.
