John Crockett Hailey

John (Jack) Crockett Hailey, age 92, of Antioch, Tennessee and formerly of Brentwood, Tennessee, departed this life to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 11, 2021. He was born in Nashville, TN on August 19, 1929. In addition to his parents Charles and Metti Mai Hailey, he was preceded in death by his wife of over 70 years, Peggy Jane (Turner) Hailey, daughter, Margaret Hailey Meek; siblings, George Hailey, Edward Hailey, and Edna West.

Jack is survived by son, John C. Hailey, Jr. and his wife Deborah of Fairhope, Alabama; son-in-law, Ronnie Meek of Arrington, Tennessee; grandchildren, Isaac Meek and his wife Stephanie, Arwen Jones and her husband Jeremy, Valerie Jane Parker, Lauren Mosley and her husband Jeff, John C. Hailey, III, and his wife Mary Emma, Carolyn Lohman and her husband Jordan, (13) great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Jack served most of his younger adult years in the food service business, owning and operating several restaurants in the Nashville area. He will always be remembered by his family as a great cook. Later in life he worked in the real estate business, managing and selling properties with Jack Hailey & Associates.

Throughout his life, Jack was heavily involved with his church. He was a life long member of Glen Leven Presbyterian where he served various offices through the years.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 from eleven AM until one PM , at Glen Leven Presbyterian, 3906 Franklin Pike, Nashville, TN 37204

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at one in the afternoon on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 in the sanctuary of Glen Leven Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Mark S. Bryan to Officiate. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers donations May be made to Glen Levin Presbyterian Church, 3906 Franklin Pike, Nashville, TN 37204
