SANTRY, Janet J. DePaepe-Age 76 of Brentwood. May 17, 1934- April 21, 2011. Mrs. Santry is preceded in death by her parents, Frank E. and Cesariene Noens DePaepe. Mrs. Santry is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, James E. Santry; of Brentwood; children, Richard (Renee) Santry, of Atlanta; Maureen (Steve) Hughes, of Nashville; James M. (Susan) Santry, of Franklin and MaryBeth (Jeff) Griffin, of Sevierville. Eleven grandchildren, Amy Espinosa, Megan Santry, Kevin Santry, Kelly Maggied, Chris Chris Santry, Patrick Santry, Michael Santry, Abby Griffin, Lacie Griffin, Dana Hughes, stephanie Chambers; six great-grandchildren, Luke Manuppelli, Lily Santry, Tyler Hughes, Brent Ford, Gracie Chambers, and Gavin Griffin; sister, Joan Grothusen; brother, Frank (Joan) DePaepe and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. She was born in Davenport, Iowa, where she graduated from Alleman High School in Rock Island, Illinois. In 1961 they moved to Nashville where she enjoyed her life raising her children and grandchildren. After retirement, she loved traveling with Jim all over the country. She also enjoyed going to Gatlinburg where they honeymooned and owned a vacation home. Jan’s hobbies included decorating their home with arts and crafts she created. She was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church. A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at 2:30 p.m., Sunday April 24, 2011 at St. Edward Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Patrick Breen, Celebrant. Pallbearers include: Kevin Santry, Chris Santry, Patrick Santry, Michael Santry, Steve Hughes, Jeff Griffin, Matt Goff, and Joe Goff. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Edward Catholic Church, St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Habitat for Humanity. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 2-7 p.m. at WOODLAWN-ROESCH-PATTON FH. (615)383-4754..
