James Feroll Stanley was born in Nashville, TN on January 3, 1935 and went into the arms of Jesus on October 25, 2010.
He is survived by wife Barbara Lunati Stanley; children Sherrie Herring, Garry Stanley, Tammy Titus and Debbie Stanley; step-daughters Lolita Hays and Sylvia Starr; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; mother Nellie Pomeroy; brothers Bobby Stanley and Hubert Pomeroy.
He graduated from Hume-Fogg in Nashville, TN; was on the Board of Trustees of the Tennessee Baptist Foundation, a Gideon, a devoted Deacon of Judson Baptist Church, and on the Board of Trustees at Belmont University. His career was the Art Director of TNN and Gaylord Entertainment, and management at WSM for many years. He was a strong devoted Christian man, deeply loved and will be greatly missed by many.
Funeral services will be 3:00 Thursday at Judson Baptist Church 4900 Franklin Pike, Nashville with visitation from 10:30 until 1:30.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Judson Baptist Church.
