James “Hugh” Davis, 91, died peacefully, February 24, 2015 in his Nashville home in the company of his beloved wife, Joy.
He was a devoted worshiper of Jehovah God. He has been a minister of Jehovah’s Witnesses for 75 years. He began his full time service at age 16 and devoted his life to teaching the Bible to any who wanted to learn about God’s plan for mankind.
The son of Harvey and Addie Idell Deberry Davis was born in LaGrange, George. He had a younger brother, Ralph, who pre-deceased him.
Mr. Davis has resided in Nashville throughout various periods of his life and has shared 49 of those good and happy years with his wife, Joy.
He leaves 3 daughters and 1 son along with 5 grandchildren who have shared their lives with him. He has counted many more sons and daughter to whom he is related in faith, and has held close, many who reside in Dallas, TX and even more locally who live in Nashville.
There will be no services. His life was his testimony of his faith.
