Frances Chavannes Burnett

Frances Chavannes Burnett, age 74, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2017 in Nashville, TN after a brief illness. Fran was born in Culver City, CA and raised in Knoxville, TN. She attended West High School in Knoxville and graduated from Pine Crest School in Ft. Lauderdale, FL in 1960. A proud and avid University of Tennessee fan, Fran attended UT where she met and married, Bill Burnett in 1962. She was a lifelong member of Laurel Church of Christ Knoxville and then Bellevue Church of Christ upon her move to Nashville in 2002. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Mary (Hill) Chavannes; husband, Bill Burnett; sisters, Mona Skipper and Anne Skidmore; sister-in-law, Connie Chavannes. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Macie and Shawn Carder, Meg and Rob Ikard and Betsy and Ben Wood; 9 grandchildren: Chase, Kendall, Clay Carder; Ashley, Emily, Andrew Ikard; Campbell, Meredith, Katelyn Wood; brothers, Oliver and Al Chavannes; sister, Pat Robins; sister-in-law, Betty Burnett (Con) Massey and numerous nieces and nephews.
