Eric and I were friends in high school. He was an inspirational artist and a great guy. He is missed.

Eric was a Gentleman and a Gentle Man.  He was the kind of person who always tried to make the lives of those around him better, with little regard for his own.  I for one, owe much of my success at Gibson...and in life to lessons he lived, and guidance he freely offered.  My Brother, I miss you more than you know!!!

Eric was one of the first people I met at Gibson.  Eric gave our group a tour and really instilled the excitement he genuinely felt.
Always smiling, always upbeat.  
Trips to Nashville will just not be the same.
Eric, you will be missed.

My condolences to Eric's family and friends.  I knew him from high school.  He he was always a welcome smile and a good friend.  He was passionate about all that he loved.  I will miss him.

Eric and I went to school together for many years.  He was always smiling and always had a joke to tell - or a prank to play.  Luckily, I was never on the receiving end of the pranks.  He was very sweet and just a great all around guy.  We lost touch over the years and the last time I saw him was at our 20 year reunion.  Except for the hair loss (which I'm sure he is so glad I'm bringing up# he was still the same as he was in high school, but a little more mature.  A great person was taken away from us way too soon.  Those of us who knew him are richer for it, however the world is poorer for its loss.  I love you Eric and will miss you.  I will really miss the opportunity I let slip thru my fingers by not connecting with you on Facebook.  Enjoy Heaven because I know you are truly there.

I worked with Eric at Gibson for over  13 years. He was always so kind and helpful and had such a sweet soul.  It's a tragic loss and he will be missed.

 Eric was  one the most creative, talented and fun people I knew. I always expected he would go on to do great things.   We didn't keep in touch w/ each other after we started college,but I thought of him often and have a lot of fun memories of him. I know he has all the angels smiling right now. I pray for peace and comfort to all the loved ones he left behind.

Be still and know Eric is at peace.As you heal his sprit will be with you.

Eric was such a cool guy.  Last time I saw him was 07 at the Gibson show where Slash & Johnny Winter performed.  He was always kind to me and was a close friend of my brothers.  My best friend Rodney is up in Heaven as of about 6 weeks ago.  I am sure the two of them are enjoying a beverage and watching a great show.  Eric will be missed.

Eric was such a huge help when my wife and I moved to East Nashville in 1995.  Eric was always there to help in any way and I cherish my time with him.  Always calm and smiling.  Truly a great loss.

Aww, man. Eric was one of the sweetest, kindest guys in the world. I'm remembering his wedding to Emily, his music, playing in Tuscaloosa, smiles, - a beautiful person.

I am devastated by the loss of Eric.  Sad that I won't get the chance to run into him and say "Hey!  It's been a while, I've missed ya!"  

Emily...my thoughts are with you.  I know we are ex-family, but Gibson family bonds never go away.  Always feel free to reach out to me for any reason.

As a member of the Gibson Family I was privileged to see how much Eric's product knowledge & geniune kindness effected all that he touched in a marvelous, sincere manner.

Eric's ready smile was ever present, as was his humor & quick wit!
His kindness & geniune friendship were his trademark.

We fell out of touch years ago, but Eric and I were friends in high school.  I spent the night at his house many times when we were teenagers.  Our routine was to walk to an Arby's about a mile away for dinner, then do the same walk the next morning to get breakfast at Dunkin Donuts.  Remarkably, we were both super skinny back then!  He was creative, funny and interesting to talk with.  Thanks for the good memories, buddy.

I'm so so sorry. Eric was a friend from highschool and beyond- we bonded through music and his cheerful spirit was always a joy to be around. My heart goes out to his loved ones.  peace be with you

The news is sad and we send our condolences to Eric's family. We will always remember Eric smiling. Eric's visit to Australia was work related but we parted as friends. Every time we saw Eric in Nashville he was always friendly, we always knew Eric would make us feel welcome and we appreciated it. A great bloke.

Eric, we only got to spend half a day together in Nashville but it feels like we've been life long mates. I'll never forget your kind soul, your humor and great outlook on life. You drove me to the airport that day...not because you had to, but because you wanted to. We talked about you coming back to Australia to visit so we could hang out by the beach and trade rock n' roll stories. Sending love and strength from Down Under to Emily and the family.

I went to high school with Eric and always remember him being a happy, warm person. His band, Toast, played at an 18th birthday party for me and my friend Becky. Although the night was a little rough for the band, it is one of my favorite memories from my younger days. 
Eric was definitely taken from us at too young an age and it is surreal to be writing this message. 
You will be missed Eric - my thoughts and condolences go out to your friends and family.

Sending my condolences.  I came to know Eric as an employee at Gibson Guitars and could see what an asset he was to the company.  He was a great guy and very knowledgeable in his field of work.  I enjoyed the interaction I had with him and he will be missed.
