Don is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Linda Brown. His two-step children that he considered his own Robert (Karen) Chambers and Robbin (Dayton) Blair also survive Mr. Brown. Don was loved and admired by his six grandchildren: Hailey Mabry, Dayton Blair Jr., Mason Chambers, Daisy Blair, Delaney Blair and Decon Blair and his four great grandchildren: Kinsley Mabry, Kelsey Mabry, Everett Mabry, and Elijah Mabry. Donald also leaves behind his three sisters: Jean (Ronnie) Newbury, Frankie (Larry) Hall, and Vicki (Jim) Crouse.
Don had an enormous heart. He could always lighten a room simply by the purity of his soul and selfless actions. Mr. Brown created memories of fishing, hunting, and boating for his grandchildren. Family being one of the most important thing to him- he was sure to articulate countless memories with his family that will be remembered forever. Donald was a very successful and highly regarded businessperson. When Don retired, he was the Vice President for DK Publishing. Don will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.
The family will be honoring Don’s life by having a private celebration of life gathering in their family home at a later date.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.marshalldonnellycombs.com for the Brown family.
