Betty Irene Sexton, 89, of Nashville, Tennessee and St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away on February 18, 2022. She was born in Nashville, Tennessee on December 13, 1932. At a young age she moved to St. Petersburg, Florida where she lived most of her life until recently returning to Nashville to reunite with her lifelong friend and companion Auda “Binkley” Beasley.
Betty was preceded in death by her sisters Alma Hazel Kirby and Billie Joyce Fouts. She is survived by her nieces Barbara Hickox, Eddie “Chickie” Jones and Laura Brady, and her nephew Clifford Fouts as well as many great nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home on Saturday February 26th from 1pm until 3pm. Followed by a graveside service in the Woodlawn Memorial Park.
