She was born October 5, 1927. Betty is preceded in death by parents, Vera and Tom Phillips, husband Robert F. Selph, and husband Bob T. Hill Sr.
Survived by children, Donna Selph Howard, and John Phillips Selph; brother Tom N. (Marilyn) Phillips, Sr. , nephews, Tom N. Phillips, Jr. and Randall Eugene (Kim) Phillips; Step children, Linda (Don) Spitters and Bob “Butch” T. Hill Jr., Step grandchildren, Candice Hill and Alanna (Jody) Webster.
Betty graduated from Central High School in 1945. She retired from AT&T in 1982. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Donelson for many years and most recently of Forest Hills Baptist Church of Nashville.
Visitation Tuesday November 13, 2018 from ten thirty until eleven thirty in the morning at Woodlawn Roesch Patton Funeral Home. Funeral will begin at eleven thirty in the morning in Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall. Rev. George Hill officiating. Burial following Woodlawn Memorial Park.
