Aubrey M. “Bill” Riley Jr., of Nashville, TN, passed away on October 31, 2011. Mr. Riley was preceded in death by his parents, Aubrey M. Riley, Sr. and Mamie Beatrice Lee Riley and a son, Aubrey M. Riley, III. He is survived by son, Michael P. (Mindy) Riley; daughter, Donna (Michael) Riley Essex; brother, Don (Gwen) Riley; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at one o’clock the afternoon of Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home with Rev. James Cole officiating. Placement will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Mr. Riley was a longtime active member and Treasurer of Hillcrest United Methodist Church and the Men’s Club. He was also a graduate of Memphis State University and veteran of the US Army, having served in Japan and Korea. In lieu of customary floral tributes, memorials may be made to the Hillcrest United Methodist Church Men’s Club or David Lipscomb Campus School.
