Ashlee Greer Brown of Nashville, TN, died October 30, 2015 at her home in Nashville, TN. She was born in Eden, NC on November 18, 1927, daughter of the late Addie and Ashley Greer. She was married to Homer Brooks Brown for 59 years. Their children are Laura Brown Hill; Amy Brown, married to Geoffrey Brittingham; and Ed Brown, married to Diane Luyster Brown. Their grandchildren are Jacob Brooks Hill, married to Stephanie O’Keefe Hill; Buckley Daniel Brown; Hudson Gamble Brown; and Maxwell Justice Brown. Ashlee graduated from Leaksville High School, attended Appalachian State University, in Boone, NC, and graduated from University of Tennessee, in Nashville, TN, in 1977. She was employed as a flight attendant by American Airlines and as a cookbook editor by Favorite Recipes Press, a division of The Southwestern Company. Ashlee was a member of Woodmont Christian Church. Visitation will be held at Woodmont Christian Church from one to three o’clock in the afternoon on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 followed by funeral service at 3 o’clock.
