Born Friday, August 30, 1929 in Somerville, MA, son of the late Dennis and Mary O’Keefe Driscoll, went to be with our Lord Thursday, November 17, 2016 in Goodlettsville, TN. He is preceded in death by his wife Carolie, his siblings Connie, Mary, Peggy, Theresa, and daughter-in-law Lisa Marie Driscoll.
Arthur has four grandchildren whom he loved very much: Casey, Philip, Nicholas and Fatima Driscoll. Arthur met his future wife, Carolie, at a BSA pancake breakfast and it was love at first sight. They were married on April 16, 1955 at St. Thomas Moore Church in Alhambra, CA. Arthur and Carolie adopted their infant son Don in January 1962. Eventually, Carolie and Arthur moved to Spokane, WA where they lived for nearly 25 years. In 2004, Arthur and Carolie moved to Tennessee to be close to their son and his family.
Throughout his life, Arthur loved to make all types of wooden furniture and toys, especially for his grandchildren.
Arthur was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather and wonderful uncle to his many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 1pm at Our Lady of the Lake Church, Hendersonville, TN.
