Arlene Shelnutt King, born April 26, 1921 in Commerce, Georgia and passed away on November 2, 2015 at her home. Survived by five children, Henry W. (Carolyn) King Jr., Kelly Michael (Dee) King, James Robert (Gayle) King, Dianne (James) King Martin and Jeffery King; eight grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Henry W. King Sr.; her twin sister, Merlene Thomas and eight other siblings. Celebration of Life Service will be on Friday, November 6, 2015 at two thirty in the afternoon in Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall. Gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, from four o’clock until eight o’clock and on Friday from one o’clock until the service at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. Private family entombment will follow in Woodlawn’s Cross Mausoleum.
