Linda Sue Hessman

Linda was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on May 26, 1957 to parents Thomas and Marjorie (Houstin) Wood. She married Robert H Hessman on April 14, 1980 and was married until his passing.

Linda is survived by her daughter Stacie M. (Michael) Peaslee, son Robert T Hessman, grandsons Christopher M and Anthony T Peaslee and one great grand-daughter Lila Peaslee.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Linda was known for having the warmest of hearts and the patience of an angel.

Linda always enjoyed the warmth of a campfire to share with family and friends, catching up with one another, and sharing tales of days past.

For every holiday get-together that was held in Linda’s home, there always was someone who was not related to the family. Just like her heart, her home was always open- ready to provide love, a warm meal, and a bonding experience to carry with them for all of time.

The kindness and love she showed to all will be cherished forever.

A celebration of Life will be held at the Seasons Lodge on October 30th, 2024 from 5-8pm.

She will be laid to rest next to her late husband at Forest Lawn in Greenwood.
