 Obituario de June Carolyn Logan
It is with deep sadness and much love that the family of June Carolyn Logan announce her peaceful passing on November 20th at the age of 89. June was born and raised in rural Shelby County. Although she raised her family there, the home of her heart was Nashville, Indiana, where she and her husband Monte settled after their marriage in 1984. She spoke often and fondly of her “Brown County family. “ June worked in the Parents Day Out Program at Nashville United Methodist Church and served as a baker extraordinaire at The Artist Colony Inn. She later served as the parking attendant for the Artist Colony , of which she loved every minute. June loved watching The Colts, reading , and going out with her friends to multiple locations in Nashville. Her fierce independence was legendary. She will be deeply missed by so many. She leaves behind her sister Janet (Jon) Carr, children Victoria Thompson and Grant (Tammy) Thompson, step-daughter Lynn (Monty Abouhalkah) Logan Mathena, daughter-In-Law Cathy Thompson, grandchildren Jeremy Ton , Alan Thompson , Brad (Katrina) Ton , Bruce Mikhael ( Morgan) Thompson and John Thompson, step- grandchildren Katie (Justin) Mathena, Sarah (Matt) Mathena Kelsay , and Jenny (Aaron) Mathena. The addition of great grandchildren Ari, Braxton, Jordan, Henry, Avery, Jasper, Hayden and Ivy were a welcomed delight. She was preceded in death by her husband Monte Logan, and her son Michael Thompson. There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, November 23rd at 3:00 PM at Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home, 1682 IN-135 North, Nashville, IN 47448.
