Billie Moore, age 79, of Nashville, died Thursday afternoon at the Brown County Health and Living Community in Nashville. Born August 3, 1932 in Brown County, he was the son of Roy and Marie (Beauchamp) Moore. He retired from Cummins Engine in Columbus and was a member of the V.F.W. He loved dealing with and trading horses and working in his barn.
He is survived by his wife, Trannie (Coop) Moore, of Nashville; his daughter, Judy Floyd, of Gordon, Alabama; three grandchildren, Billy Joe Moore, Trannie Iddings and Trish Harles; one brother, Leroy Moore, of Bean Blossom, Indiana; his twin sister, Betty Graham, of Bloomington and two other sisters, Lula Pearl Moore, of Nashville and Donna Petro, of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Moore and Marie (Beauchamp) Moore Milton, one son, Gary Moore and two sisters, Mary Henderson and Dean Ping.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Harmony Baptist Church. Burial will follow in New Bellesville Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Monday at the Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home in Nashville from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M.
