Linda Lucille Roy

Linda Lucille Roy, 71, of Merrimack, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family on Sunday, July 28, 2024. She was born on January 28, 1953 in Nashua, NH and was daughter of Roger and Theresa (Paradise) Roy.

Linda grew up in Nashua and attended the Laconia State School from age 9 to 19. She lived in Keene, NH for many years before returning to the Nashua area. Since moving back to Nashua, she had been supported by the PLUS Company and had lived in a residential care home for the past several years. Over the years, Linda worked in various positions with The Hunt Community and St. Joseph’s Hospital.

Linda was a lover of all foods and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She frequently volunteered at local nursing homes where she would entertain residents by playing the piano, a talent she had perfected over her lifetime. The joy she experienced while entertaining others was immense, and her smile was infectious. Her kindness resonates through all of us.

She is survived by her sisters Louise Roy, Darlene Sullivan and husband Wesley, Denise Roy and partner Christine; brothers Edward Roy and wife Dody, Alan Roy and wife Jennifer; and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, August 1, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Zis-Sweeney & St. Laurent Funeral Home, 26 Kinsley Street, Nashua, NH. A funeral mass will occur Friday, August 2, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 777 W. Hollis St, Nashua, NH, with burial to follow immediately at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Pine Hill Ave, Nashua, NH.
