Jeannie (Anderson) Maxwell Born in Boston on Feb. 4, 1942, Jeannie was the daughter of the late Oscar William “Bill” and Rebecca (Greenough) Anderson. She was raised and educated in Randolph, and briefly lived on route 1 in West Peabody, MA. Jeannie was the beloved wife of James Maxwell with whom she shared 28 years of marriage.
She leaves her children, Bonnie Jean Knowles, Robin Derba and her husband Stephen, Charles Knowles and his wife Lisa, Michael Mahoney and his wife Cassandra, her grandchildren, Nicole Derba, Katherine & Kyle MacIntire, Stephanie & Jack Newman, Kristy & Andrew Strauss, Kimberly & Brendan Klar, Alli & Ryan Tjalsma, Chuckie Knowles, Renee Maxwell, Ronnie & Katina Maxwell, and 8 great-grandchildren. She also leaves 7 siblings, Janet Hidden, Anna Igo, Becky King, Suzanne Pinho, Jack, Fred and Danny Peterson, as well as countless nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sisters, Bobbie Douglass, Elsa Eckman, Karin Caproni, Lois Hebert, and her brothers William “Billy” Anderson & David Peterson.
Jeannie worked tirelessly throughout her life; she was a waitress and cashier. She looked forward to Christmas family celebrations in rented halls large enough to hold the entire Anderson/Peterson clan.
Jeannie was an active member in her church along with her beloved husband Jim. She loved to volunteer for Vacation Bible School for Kids. She was a woman of strong faith in Jesus.
Jeannie & Jim were inseparable; the two enjoyed many annual trips to New York in their camper along with friends at the Word of Life Campground.
Jeannie adored spending time with her treasured family and grandchildren along with many precious friends. She enjoyed having many family gatherings at her home.
A funeral service for Jeannie will be held Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Merrimack Valley Baptist Church, 517 Boston Post Rd, Merrimack, NH.
