He was born in Nashua, NH on June 19, 1933, the son of the late Patrick and Margaret (Cotter) Finnigan.
He was educated in the Nashua school system. He attended St. Patrick’s Grammar School and Nashua High School, graduating Class of 1951. Brian served his country in the US Army. He was employed as a courier for Christian Chair and Northeast Rehab of Salem, NH for many years before his retirement. Brian was an avid newspaper reader, and an avid sports fan, especially golf and football.
He is survived by three sisters, Sister Sheila Finnigan, S.N.D. deN of Clinton, MA, Martha Brooks of Palm Beach, FL, and Margaret (Peg) Finnigan of Nashua, NH; two brothers, Rev. John B. Finnigan of Suncook, NH and Patrick J. Finnigan and his wife Dorothy of Salem, NH; as well as several nieces, nephews, and grand nieces.
Visiting hours were held on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 from 4 PM to 7 PM at ST. LAURENT FUNERAL HOME, 116 ELM STREET, NASHUA, NH 03060. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at St. Joseph the Worker Parish in Nashua, NH at 11 AM. Burial followed at St. Patrick Cemetery in Hudson, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Brian’s name to Nashua Soup Kitchen & Shelter, 42 Chestnut Street
