Ramon Masson was born in 1937, in the province of Pinar Del Rio, Cuba. He is survived by his wife Celia Masson and his three sons Nivaldo, Ramon Jr. and Juan, and his siblings Pepe, Luis, Maggie, and Nena. Ramon is also survived by his grandchildren Sebastian, Jonathan, Brandon, Camila, Roger, Henry, and Christopher and his great-grandchildren Roman, Jaxson, and Nathaniel. Ramon also leaves behind many cousins who loved him and whom he loved dearly. His family was always his first priority. Ramon was a man from the time he was put on this earth. He and his siblings helped run the family business till they each married and set out to make their mark. Ramon was a rancher, carpenter, farmer, and butcher. He helped run both the family ranch as well as the grocery store. He immigrated to the United States in 1968 in protest of the communist government and the Castro regimen. He quickly learned to speak English and found his footing in the grocery industry working at Publix Supermarket. He went on to have a 27-year career with Publix where he was loved and appreciated. After officially retiring, he opened up RNJ PLANTS INC which originally was supposed to be his last job, but of course, Ramon was not done yet. He sold RNJ intending to retire, but anyone who knew Ramon knew he wouldn’t stay retired. He then bought his 28-acre ranch in Sebring, FL, inspired by his dream to one day return to his childhood passion of being a cattle rancher. He lived his life the way he wanted and on his terms. Anyone who knew Ramon loved him. He helped everyone in his orbit, never asking for anything in return. In his final days, he had his loyal wife Celia of 65 years, who would do anything for her husband, by his side till the end. He was always there for us, so in his time of need he was surrounded by his loving family and friends. His siblings are heartbroken because they cannot pay their last respects, but we feel them in spirit. We say goodbye to the family patriarch; his spirit will live on inside of us all.
He will be missed but never forgotten.
We love you dad.

Nietos Sebastian, Jonathan, Brandon, Camila, Roger, Henry y Christopher.
