Estefana Silva Hernandez

The daughter of Nicolas Rodriguez Silva and Maria de Jesus D. Silva. In addition to her

parents, she was predeceased by 3 siblings: Bonifacia Silva, Fidel Rodriguez Silva, Angela Silva.

She had a primary formal education, but her “lifelong experience” equal to an MBA Education.

This molded her into a successful businesswoman and deep rooted legacy in the Homestead

Miami-Dade Community. The community was enriched by her Mexican Heritage and with her home

Style Mexican Cuisine that was tasted, enjoyed by many family members and friends in her home, that led to opening a small restaurant on Krome Ave, Homestead, Florida: “El Toro Taco”.

She was married to Pablo Lopez Hernandez, also of San Luis Potosi, Mexico for 37 years and the mother

of 6 children: Alicia Bennett and her husband Harry Bennett, Hector Hernandez and his wife Monika Hernandez, Jose Hernandez and his wife Ann Roda , Emma Silva Hernandez, predeceased: Adan Hernandez, Telvina Guiterrez, her husband Alberto Guiterrez. There are 9 grandchildren, 11 great grand children, 2 great great grandchildren:

She passed away on January 24, 2024 at 00:34 peacefully, having been surrounded for much of the day by many of her children and grandchildren. Her funeral services will be held at Iglesia Adventista De Homestead, 28500 Old Dixie Hwy, Homestead FL. January 28, 2024 Sunday afternoon 2 – 4 Viewing, with funeral service at 4 – 5:30. Her services will continues on January 29, 2024 Monday morning 10 – 12 Burial & Grave Service at Caballero Rivera Woodlawn 27100 Old Dixie Hwy Naranja, FL
