Melvin Dale Terwilliger

Ohio. He was the 5th child born to the late Arthur E. Terwilliger and Etta H. Tweeddale, on April 5, 1943 in Whitehouse, Ohio. He was a U.S. Army veteran being stationed in Germany. After leaving the military, he became a long haul truck driver, which he retired from in 2005. In 1965 he married Karen

V. Everett. To them was born son Kevin D. (Tonya) Terwilliger , Florida and RobertA. Terwilliger who predeceased him in 1992. In 1974 he then married Lula B. Poling who survives. Also surviving is a granddaughter, Skye Terwilliger, siblings, Arthur G (Kathy) Terwilliger, Eldon R (Judith) Terwilliger, Richard L (Dori) Terwilliger, Florida, Loretta (Lonnie) Jones, Linda Bleschke, Bonnie (Dennis) Anderson, Ohio and James A (Diane) Terwilliger, Texas , and many nephews and nieces. Also preceding him are brothers, Kenneth, Gary, Virgil, and sister Mildred. He will be laid to rest at Beaver Creek Cemetery, Grand Rapids, Ohio.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at Walker Mortuary, Napoleon, Ohio with funeral services to follow. Pastor Robert F. Shidler officiating. Memorials may be made in memory of Melvin and his brother Virgil to the Wounded Warrior Project or Disabled American Veterans.
