Ronald E. Jaynes

Ron was born on April 30, 1947 in Indianapolis, Indiana, to the late Elsie (Goen) Jaynes and Raymond Jaynes.

Ron graduated from Nineveh High School and attended Indiana University. He retired from UPS after 36 years as an executive in National Sales. He and his wife Pam moved full time from Carmel, Indiana to Naples, FL. in 2002. In Naples he enjoyed time with their many friends golfing, traveling and socializing. His large family gave him immense joy as they visited often. He had a passion for Indiana University basketball and rarely missed a game. He was a shining light in everyone’s world.

Ron is survived by his wife Pam (Sollars) Jaynes, Brenton Jaynes (Tammy), Tiffany Jaynes, Jason Hutchens (Jeni), Kerry Fowler, Kyle Fowler, Kirk Fowler (Shayna), Matthew Hott (Olaf Hedrich), Ashley Denham (Brent), and Will Hassell. He is also survived by grandchildren, Dalton, Miah, Payten, Avery, Ella, Talon, Logan, Delaney, Weston, Gabe.

He was preceded in death by his mother Elsie, his father Raymond, and his sister Patricia.

Services for Ron will be held on Sunday, January 13, 2019, at 11:30 a.m. at Hodges Funeral Home, 525 111th Avenue North, Naples, FL. Visitation will be at 11 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. Burial will follow immediately in the Memorial Gardens.
