Mr Clark was my favorite teacher of 6th grade

Mr. Clark was my teacher in 6th grade. He was so kind and caring towards both his current and previous students. He was a good person and will be missed. My condolences go out to his family and friends. ♥️

I was very sad to hear Rick had passed away. He was a friend and fellow teacher at East Naples Middle School. I send my condolences to you and your family in this time of terrible sadness.

Rick Clark was a good friend and co- worker of mine at East Naples Middle School. Our classrooms adjoined via a store room . As we got to know each other we formed a bond that lasted past my years there. We lifted each other up as we offered support and encouragement in our daily tasks at ENMS. I remember many times long after the final bell he was on the phone with parents  with concerns for his students. He was always willing to go the extra mile to help others. On his planning period, he would walk over to my room and hand out Gator Bucks to those young artists who were displaying good behavior and were on task. He had a special gift of a bringing out the best in all his students. When he was planning his wedding my art students helped make the trellis for the ceremony that we had at Moorings Beach Park...He was overjoyed when he came over to the art room and stood under it. He would always called me "Brother"  He had a deep spirit and love that flowed out of him to others. I will miss you Brother! Mr. Clark was my 6th grade science teacher and throughout the entire year he was so caring and understanding if i was having any problems or just having a bad day.  He was such a funny teacher and school wont be the same without getting to say hi to him everyday. So many people will miss him everyday. ❤️🕊️

Blessings to the family during this sad and unexpected time. Rick was a great friend and funny classmate. Always smiling and would  make you laugh. He played baseball for my dad and was a good football player too. Thanks for the movies, the milkshakes, the chats, saving me from a haunted house while babysitting lol, coffee breaks at Bob’s and for being just a  wonderful friend all these years. You will be missed, my Pisces buddy.

So very shocked and sad to hear this. My condolences and prayers go out to the family and all of Rick's friends and students.  I got to know Rick later on in our teenage years through football and mutual friends, and he instantly treated me like he'd known me for years. We hung out in his neighborhood and a lot more during our years in college. Always quick witted, and good for belly laughs. Such a smart and fun guy to be around. He could always bring a smile to an otherwise gloomy day. Rest in peace my friend, see you on the other side.

My most sincere condolences go out to Rick’s family as they deal with such a terrible loss. Rick was one of my oldest and dearest friends. I miss him terribly already. So many great memories! He was a unique person with a special heart and great character. If Rick loved you then you knew it . I was blessed to be his close friend for many years . I guess Rick and I probably went to 30 different concerts together and had a blast . We saw the very last gathering of The Grateful Dead in Buckeye Lake Ohio and had quite a trip together , one neither of us could ever forget. So many memories swirl my mind as I remember the fine person , cool dude,brilliant mind and loving family man  that was Rick .  He will be forever missed by many including myself but never forgotten.

Lot's of great memories w/ this fella...I hate that we lost touch, like I have with so many over the past several years, but was so glad we got to catch up last Summer, and find you happy, in love, and doing well in life. It sure sounded like you were living your dream, brother.  So very sorry to hear of your passing. I wish we could've gotten together one more time to hang, reminisce, and laugh. Mr. Clark was such a wonderful teacher. In 6th grade he helped me so much and was always so kind. It’s so sad that I won’t be able to see him next year I really was looking forward to it. He could put smiles in students who were going through bad days. He made sure everyone was included. He really had an impact on my life and I’m sure in others. I knew Rick, my whole life. He was like a brother to me. One of the most intelligent, funniest, and kindest people I have ever met, and I am so very grateful for the more than 45 years of memories we shared together. He made me a better person.

Mr Clark was my science teacher and he was super nice to me and he was funny I will always remember the time that he was peeking out the door to see if Mr Sloan could see him and when he made everyone’s 0% into 20% so we wouldn’t get nogo he was always visited by the 7th and 8th graders and I was looking forward to doing that next year and I remember the time he let me get my snow cone first and sent me to take stuff and get stuff and he would always make everybody laugh I never turned in my work but he would always re open stuff for us and he would always say random stuff out of nowhere he will be missed.💝🕊️

I am so sad that Mr Clark has passed away, but the memories I had with him as a teacher will live on, like the day that I was sick he showed me pictures of his cats to make me feel better and the day he was the first one to notice I didn’t feel well. He always cared for me when I was hurt, sad, or sick. He liked to talk about unicorns that tased like chocolate but sadly when extinct, well now Mr Clark is up in a better place with his unicorns. This year was my last at Cypress Palm, and I still remember running into Mr. Clark in the hallways while I was going to my classes and he would talk to me with a smile. He was a great teacher. Mr. Clark was my 6th grade science teacher. He never failed to help his students whenever they needed help understanding the material. He was always there to ask me how my new year was going or give me advice when I needed it. He always did his best to help out whenever he could. I’m eternally grateful for the outstanding teacher he was and how great of a person he was to all his students. If we needed it, he would do his best to cheer us up. Honestly Mr.Clark was a good science teacher when I was in 6th grade.  It’s sad to hear that he has passed away. I remeber when he said that me and my brother where bad students but he was just playing around…I think…but he will always crack jokes and sometimes tell stories. Even when I see him walking in the hallways of cpm I would go up to him and say “hi” or just greet him and ask him about his day. I had him as my science teacher for 6th grade and I always remembered how he would always look out for each of his students.
