Born to the late Katherine and Michael Hall, Ray grew up in Brooklyn, NY, where he met Jacqueline Chooljian whom he married and together had four children. Several years after Jacqueline’s death in 1978, Ray moved to Manhattan, then Texas and eventually to Staten Island. There he met Anne White whom he married in 1996 in Saint William Church, Naples, FL.
Ray was employed in the Securities Industry for many years. At Advest, a stock brokerage firm, Ray managed the stock transactions between buyers and sellers.
He was a competitive handball player and most weekends could be found playing handball at the 4th Street courts in lower Manhattan. Ray loved football! His favorite teams were San Francisco 49ers and Notre Dame.
Ray was known for his quick humor, his gentlemanly manner and for being a good friend and a loving father and husband.
Ray enjoyed taking cruise ship vacations with his children, with Anne and his sister Marguerite and her extended family. During Winter and Spring he and Anne lived as residents of Naples, FL and in the Summer and Fall at Lake Naomi, PA and Staten Island, NY.
He is survived by his loving wife: Anne, sons Raymond (Nancy), David (Maureen) and Patrick Hall; daughter Kathleen Hall (Kathryn); Granddaughter Kayla; step-grandchildren Sean and Tara. Nephews: Michael, Kevin, Daniel and Robert Barrett, William Hall, Jr., Brian Hall and Matthew Fenton. Nieces: Peggy O’Brien, Katherine Donegan and Aileen Fenton.
Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing at 12:30 and Mass at 1:00 pm at Saint John the Evangelist Church 625 111th Avenue North, Naples.
