Nicholas Ernest Wardein of Naples, Florida unexpectedly passed away on July 22, 2022. He was born in San Bernardino County, California on July 28, 1977. Nick graduated from Parkview High School in 1996 and later attended and graduated from Paramedics School.
Nick was married to his beloved Ruth Fusco on January 25th, 2003.
Nick lived life to the fullest and was passionate about many things. His relationship with Jesus was foundational and impacted every area of his life. His devotion and dedication to Ruth was beautifully tangible and honorable beyond words. Nick adored his children and he was constantly thinking of how he could be the best father to them. His passion list is filled with prayer, loving his Ruth and children, food, designing and building his and Ruth’s creations, history, books and learning, teaching his kids, travel, adventure and long road trips with his family.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Ruth Wardein their children; Liora Wardein (17), Xavier Wardein (14), Clara Wardein (11). Preceded in death by his brother Tommy Wardein and survived by his siblings Damien Wardein (Stephanie), Robert Wardein (Jessica), Emily Mazanowski (Michael), Elizabeth Wardein, Jacob Wardein, Avigayil Wardein, Lucas Wardein. Parents: Kevin Wardein and Mary Hubbs.
A visitation for Nick will be held Wednesday, July 27, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Thursday, July 28, 2022 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at Hodges Funeral Home At Naples Memorial Gardens, 525 111th Ave N, Naples, Florida 34108. A Mass of Christian Burial will occur Thursday, July 28, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 625 111th Ave N, Naples, Florida 34108 (reception to follow at the church.)
