Naples, Florida and Edina, Minnesota
Jo passed away on September 3rd, 2016 in Naples, Florida. She was the daughter of Lyle and Gladys Spooner, born March 19, 1935 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and was raised in St Cloud, Minnesota. Jo graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in 1957 where she met and fell in love with Rodger Lundblad. She taught high school and home economics and later founded L’Innovation Interiors, a successful ASID interior design business, which fostered many long friendships.
Jo was predeceased by her parents and her granddaughter Adeline Joanna Keller. She was survived by her husband of 59 years Dr Rodger Lundblad MD. Her children Eric Lundblad and Ann Lundblad Keller, and grandchildren Lucie, Matthew, and Audrey, sister Jill Spooner Kilpatrick.
Jo was a member of Edina Country Club and Royal Poinciana Country Club where she enjoyed tennis, Rummikub, and Mahjong. She was active in Manamore , an arts appreciation group, and the biking group Whiteliners. She never passed a baby or dog without saying hello and her favorite doggies were Sonny and Marlo. Jo and Rodger raised their children in Edina, Minnesota and later spent their winters in Naples, Florida. The family will celebrate Jo’s life with a gathering at Gull Lake, Minnesota next summer.
The family would like to thank all the loving caregivers who joined Jo’s beloved circle of friends. Eric and Ann would like to thank Rodger for never giving up and providing Jo a rich, fulfilled life.
