Born on March 30, 1940 in Chicago, IL to Burt and Eleanor (nee Porth), Burt graduated from Lane Tech High School and later served in the US Coast Guard. He eventually worked as a Butcher for over 35 years before retiring in 1998.
Beloved husband of the late Diane (nee Raphoon), whom he married on November 17, 1962 and together they lived life with a flair and flourish that included their passion for the Cubs, Bears, traveling and socializing.
Burt will be missed by his nephew Michael Rossi, wife Debbie and their children Ryan and Ethan, brother in-law Jim Raphoon, as well as countless other relatives, neighbors and friends.
A Memorial Mass will be held on August 31st at 11:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 625 111th Ave N, Naples, FL 34108.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
