Robin was born on August 10, 1948 in Williams Lake, BC. He spent his youth attending private school at Qualicum College and summers at home on the Lazy R Cattle Ranch in La Hache, BC. He attended high school in 100 Mile House before moving to Kelowna at the age of 18 where he started driving gravel truck. Robin married Jody in 1970 and they moved to Clearwater where he was hired shortly after by Trimac Transportation in Kamloops, BC, which marked the start of a 52-year-long career of working for the company. Driving for Trimac took him from Kamloops, where he bought his first truck, then to Kelowna, Victoria, and Nanaimo. He drove a lot of miles and worked hard doing what he loved. As a loyal employee, he always made sure the loads were delivered safely and on time. He retired from driving truck in 2022.
Robin was predeceased by his parents Bordie and Lou Felker, stepfather Joe Kozakevich, siblings John, Bubby, and Bonnie Felker, and brother-in-law Jim Crutchley. He is survived by his wife Jody, children Jason (Amanda) and April (Tom), sister Joyce Felker (Les), brother Joey Kozakevich, and sister-in-law Joan Felker. He is also survived by brothers-in-law Mark (Gerri) and Clark Johnston, and sisters-in-law Wendy Carlson (Dan), and Laureen Johnston, as well as many cousins, nephews, and nieces from the Felker, Singlehurst, and Johnston families.
Robin will be greatly missed by his family and all of his friends on and off the road. Keep on trucking Robin!
