William George Robinson

William George Robinson, age 77, of Nacogdoches, Texas passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2024. Bill was born in Waynesboro, Mississippi on November 16, 1946 to Howard Emerson Robinson and Helen Mable Busby Robinson.

Bill graduated from Jackson High School in 1965, Patrick Henry Junior College in 1967 and Auburn University in 1969. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from May 1970- June 1976.

After the service, Bill worked in the construction and building of Power Plants from 1976-2014, working for Daniel Construction Company and Fluor Construction Company.

Bill is survived by his wife, Ocie Ryland Robinson (55 years on Nov 15th); daughter, Amy Robinson Weatherly and husband Gerall Robert Weatherly, Jr.; grandchildren, Julia Kay Whitehead and husband Richard Whitehead, Hunter Robert Weatherly and girlfriend Bridgett Hines, Collin Robinson Weatherly and wife Maci Weatherly, Morgan Thomas Weatherly; great-grandson, Cohen Whitehead; sisters, Edna Robinson Stewart, Judy Robinson Rotch and husband Ray Rotch; brother, Walter Robinson and wife Rowena; special aunt, Donalee Robinson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Helen Robinson; brother, Howard E. Robinson, Jr.; brother-in-law, Robert "Bob" Stewart and great grandson Grayson Weatherly.

Bill enjoyed watching Auburn football, westerns, Fox News, and he especially loved doing anything that involved family.

The family will receive friends, Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, First Baptist Church Nacogdoches, with a service to begin at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Rock Springs Cemetery.
