Steve most of all, loved his family. Being a husband, a father, amazing grandpa, brother, uncle and friend were by far his first and foremost loved qualities. The family motto has always been “You’re nothing without FAMILY”.
His favorite place to spend time with family and friends was at the Lac A Day cabin where he could always make us laugh with the funniest comments in the most unexpected ways.
Always a Marine, Steve was a Purple Heart recipient from his service during the Vietnam War.
Steve is survived by his wife of 42, Wendy L Jobin; Son, Ken Bernia (Christi); Daughters, Audra Fortino (Steve), Sarah Coyle (Jeremiah); Grandchildren, Brecken Bernia, Kennedi Bernia, Jalyn Coyle, Peace Coyle, Luca Fortino, Scott Fortino; Brother, Randy Jobin (Barb); Sister, Janelle Kuiper and many loved nieces and nephews
