Nancy was born January 17, 1944, the daughter of Donald and Dorothy Carden. She married Thomas Deephouse on November 5, 1960. Together they enjoyed 46 years of marriage until his death in 2007. Nancy worked for the telephone company her entire career. She was a member of American Legion Post 69, the Lithuanian Club, VFW post 8846, Polish Union, Catalina Beach Club, Lakeside vets, and several area Eagles clubs. She enjoyed playing euchre, karaoke, racing, playing cards, camping and trips to Texas. She was a strong, feisty, compassionate, straight-forward woman, who will be deeply missed.
Nancy is survived by: her children, Wendy (Thomas) Whitaker, and Thomas (Noreen) Deephouse; grandchildren, Shannon (Larry Pennington), Dustin (Andrew), Brooke (Nick), Michael, Collyn (Mike Heisser), Zachary (Emily), Stevie (Steve Graves), Kristin (Matt), Ryan (Stephanie), Scott, and Nicole ; 9 great-grandchildren; special companion of 14 years, Louie Martinez Sr.; and her special dog, Lucky.
She was preceded in death by: her husband Tom; daughter, Tina Marie Deephouse; her parents; and sisters, Jeannette and Janet.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, October 11, 2021 at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Cremation Chapel 1783 E Keating Avenue. Visitation will take place 1 hour prior to the start of the service.
