Lyle Frances Green

Lyle, son to Loyd and Dorothy(Moss) Green, was born September 24,1948, and raised in the small Village of New Era of Shelby Township Michigan. Lyle served in the Vietnam War in the Army, during which time he married Sandra Marie VanEvera and became a father to his son Gerald Loyd Green(Athena) and his daughter Angela Marie Green. After the war he loved and Wed Patricia Ellie May Giddings June 12, 1976, and became the step father of her children Ricky and Victoria (Robert Ramirez) Hobby, Yevette and Jeanette Ikens whom he loved and raised. He was preceded in death by his sister Arlene (Jim) Hall, his brother Dale Green and then heartbreakingly, his wife Pat, after 36 years of marriage on November 20, 2012. Lyle engaged in many interests throughout his life. He loved riding cycles, buying cars, gathering with friends, sleeping in a lazyboy, BootScootin, gun shootin, and most recently an obsession with Ham Radio Operations. Lyle was a trucker and worked as a roofer at East Muskegon Roofing, and retired from 7Up trucking Inc. In the final five years of his life, he had the fortunate blessing to meet and fall in love with the last love of his life, Connie Lynn Wanerus, and in doing so gained additional family ( Scott and Hidy George, & Lori and Mark Laramoure), and treasured relationships to fill his days until the day he breathed his last breath. Sadly, Lyle leaves behind 18 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
