Laura was very encouraging, proud and protective of those she loved. She was a soccer mom, a band parent, and also assisted with theater productions. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a driving force in creating and organizing family gatherings. Laura made many special memories with her family in Irons, where they would stay at the family vacation home, “Keeps Me Broke" and take trips down the Pine River. She was a loving caregiver, a talented graphic designer, and made all her people feel special and loved.
Laura was known for her love of dogs and animal rescue was a cause near and dear to her heart. She was a longtime supporter of Noah Project. Laura also enjoyed hunting for morel mushrooms every spring as well as tending to her flower garden.
Laura was preceded in death by her parents, James and Jeanette Goodman as well as her brother Jim “Bug” Goodman and brother in law Bill Ensign.
She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Greg; daughter Lea; sisters Cathy Ensign and Brenda (Dan Anderson) Goodman; Uncle Chuck (Donna) Goodman; Aunt Gen (Doug) Harmsen; Aunt Carol McIntyre; Sisters in law Roberta Goodman and Loretta Varboncoeur, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Life is being planned for the spring.
