Jolly worked for several years as an office manager before she retired. She spent over 63 years of her life married to her soulmate, John “Jack” W. Johnson. The couple was a pair that was truly meant for each other. They were always holding hands, sharing kisses, and small touches of affection all the way until Jolly’s final days. Even when she was stuck in bed during her last days, Jack would sit by her side and play the guitar for her. Jolly and Jack were made for each other. The pair loved to travel together, and even lived in Hawaii for several years. They loved to go to new and exciting places. Jolly loved to spend her free time at the casino, it didn’t matter the game, she just loved to play! She liked to shop at flea markets and yard sales, looking for some new treasures to bring home. She was very passionate about cooking. She was always making treats for special occasions, and would always do all of the catering for weddings and birthdays. Food was really how Jolly showed her love. Anytime you came over around supper time, there would always be enough for you too! Jolly will be remembered for her excellent food, endless love, and caring spirit. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
