On May 11, 2019, Jack D. Stevens “fought the good fight” then he journeyed to his new heavenly home to be with his Lord and Savior. He was reunited with his loving wife of 54 years, Dawn M. Stevens.
Over the years the two of them went from Muskegon to “The Farm” in Montague, lived life to the fullest, working the farm, traveling across the US and making friends everywhere they travelled. Jack was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish. He loved old cars, building race cars, and racing. Jack could fix anything, anytime, anywhere, and for anyone. He had a big heart and would help everyone in anyway that he could. Jack proudly served in the US Army from 1958 to 1962. He retired from Sealed Power in 1990 after working in the Skilled Trades as a Machinist. In the later years, Jack enjoyed spending time with his family and attending his grandchildren events.
He will be sadly missed by his children, Rodney (Erin) Stevens & Renata (Robert) Mull Jr. His grandchildren Braeanna, Preston, Kalena, Morgan & Isabelle and his great grandchild, Ivy. His sisters Ethel (Frances) Ferrier and Polly Rice.
Preceding Jack in death are his parents, Frank and Lila Stevens and siblings: Ransom Stevens, Clair Stevens, Barbara Hartman, Bette Ziski, Miriam Gordon, Elmer Thomas, Lawrence Thomas, and Robert Mudge.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family at 1:00pm on May 23, 2019 with a Celebration of Life Service being held at 2:00pm at Evanston Avenue Baptist Church, Muskegon Mi.
