Isabel had worked at Baker College as a librarian and in circulation for 25 years until her retirement. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her family hunting, fishing, and barbequing, and was a fabulous cook. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and she will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her greast-grandson Daniel Elijiah Ponce, brother Manuel Rivera, an infant brother, and an infant sister.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel, 1783 East Keating in Muskegon. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to be used at a later date.
