Barb was born February 8, 1940, the daughter of Richard and Mildred Thomas. On April 28, 1956 she married Gerald Randall and together they enjoyed nearly 50 years of marriage until his death in 2005. She work for many years at Orchard View schools. Barb enjoyed gardening, and word searches however, her family was what brought the most joy in her life. She was a strong-willed, funny, caring, loving woman. She will be deeply missed.
Barb is survived by: her children, Cindy (Joe) Pouch, Bill (Ruth) Randall, and Deb (Rick) Shaffer; grandchildren, Stacy (Derek) Mulvey, Charlie (Maria) Randall, David (Jen) Randall, Angie Smith, Jacob Shaffer, Joe (Steph) Shaffer, and Joe II (Kayleigh) Pouch; great-grandchildren, Derek II, Tyler, Evan, Jacob, Adrienne, Austin, Madison, Ashlynn, Joe III, Stella, Audrey, Kendall, Emma, and Matthew; brothers, Tim (Linda) Thomas and Norm Thomas; sister, Judy (Dan) Riley; sister-in-law Jean Jansen; brother-in-law, Ron Randall; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: her husband; parents; brothers, Link, Tom, Marv, and Mike; sisters, Pat, Ann, and Cathy; and her husband’s parents, Lloyd and Gwen Randall.
A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 with Pastor Mike VanKampen officiating at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Cremation Chapel, 1783 E. Keating Avenue Muskegon, MI 49442. Visitation will take place on Tuesday from 5-7 also at the funeral home. Visitation will also take place 1 hour prior to the start of the service. Interment will take place at Egelston Township Cemetery.
