William Kelton Carey, age 69, of Indianapolis, IN, formerly of Smyrna, TN, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2020. Kelton was the son of the late Will and Christine Carey. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Debby Fields Carey; and son, Kristopher Carey. A graveside service with military honors was held on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Kelton retired from the US Army, having served in Vietnam and then reenlisted and serving 21 years total. He then worked for the Department of Defense’s Finance Center and retired in 2017 with 22 years of civilian service from D.F.A.S. Kelton was a good husband, father and friend.
