Born October 13, 1972, to Patricia Henderson Raymer and the late Ben Raymer. Tracie is survived by her son Chris Raymer, her mother Pat Raymer, and her beloved dog Mater. Forever remembered by her sisters Sherrie Smith and her husband John of Smyrna, Debbie Jacobs and her husband Joey of Murfreesboro, and Cathy Raymer of Smyrna. She is also loved and remembered by her grandchildren Zayda Raymer and Hunter Crook as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A native of Smyrna, TN she was a member of First Baptist Church giving her heart to the Lord at an early age. While growing up, she found a love of softball playing throughout the years on youth teams as well as adult women and co-ed teams. First base was her spot. She would do all that she could not to let a ball get past her even if it meant doing the splits to be sure that she was still touching the base. A past employee of Lifeway Christian Resources working in both the Retail area (Book store division) and Retail Training Department.
Tracie was a beautiful person inside and out. Her smile was so stunning it would light up the whole room. Kind and compassionate, she cared deeply for her family, her neighbors, and the people around her never meeting a stranger and loving fiercely with all of her heart. Known to her grandchildren as Grana Ray and her nieces and nephews as Aunt Tra Tra, she will be forever missed. While we can no longer see your sweet smile or hear your voice, we will feel you in our hearts forever. Until we meet again.
Visitation will be held 12-2pm on January 6th, 2024, at Parkway Baptist Church (1715 Lee Victory Parkway, Smyrna TN, 37167) followed by a memorial service at 2:00pm with
Dr. David Tiller officiating.
