Terry Wayne Wisdom

Terry was born September 9th, 1954 in Smyrna, Tennessee to the late Donald Wisdom and Mildred Adams Wisdom. In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his daughter Sheryl Wisdom, and his two brothers Michael Wisdom (Renee) and James Powell.

Terry is survived by his four children Stephanie Fowler, Donald Wisdom (Jacqueline), Anthony Wisdom, and Joshua Adams, his three brothers Kevin Wisdom, Benny Tate (Barbara) and Charles Powell, his three sisters Donna Wisdom Powers, Vicki Wisdom Steele (Jack), and Patricia Anne McGowan, his ten grandchildren Vincent Fowler (Erica), Matthew Fowler, Tyler Fowler, Don Wisdom, Brad Wisdom, Grace Wisdom, Kailey Wisdom, Chloe Wisdom, Cassidy Wisdom, Brayden Wisdom, several beloved cousins, nephews, and nieces, innumerable friends, as well as his long-time loving partner of 32 years Christie Dabbs Cherry.

A life-long Volunteers fan, Terry will be buried in his Go Big Orange! sweater. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman, and loved all animals but especially his beloved dogs Mercedes (🕆) and Gypsy.

Terry was loved by all of his family and his many friends and will be greatly missed.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 17th, 2020 at 2:30 pm in the Chapel of the Roselawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens in Murfreesboro, TN. Visitation will be Thursday, December 17th, 2020 starting at 11 am until time of service at 2:30 pm.

Due to the current health situation, we are not allowing outside food to be brought to the funeral home. If you wish to provide this for the family, please contact them to deliver to their home. Also, due to the size of gathering restrictions we currently observe, we will "Live Stream" the service on our Facebook page, Roselawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens- Murfreesboro, TN.
