Sam Allen

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Opal Allen; daughters, Dianna Stephens and her husband Randy, Laura Berichon and her husband Ed and Peggy Brandon and her husband Mike; son, Don Allen and his wife Sheila; grandchildren, Carrie Moore, Melissa Lannom and her husband Chris, Chris Brandon and his wife Morgan, Katie Slomsky, Emily Bogus and her husband Levi, Sara Slomsky and Steven Brandon; great grandchildren, Savannah Tuggle, Sydney Skelding, Sophia Tuggle, Addison Brandon and Isabela Moore. Mr. Allen was preceded in death by his brother, Ray Allen.

Sam retired from Continental-General Tire following 28 years of employment. Afterword, he continued to work as a self-employed small appliance repairman. Over his lifetime, Sam served as an Elder of several Churches of Christ and sat as a Board Member of Stones River Manor for many years.

Services to celebrate Mr. Allen will be at Six O’clock the evening of Monday, October 30, 2017 at Roselawn Funeral Home. Friends are cordially invited to visitation also on Monday from Three O’clock till the service begins at Six.

In lieu of customary floral tributes, memorial donation may be presented to the charity of your choice.
