Linda Morgan League, age 76, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday evening, March 1, 2022 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Clyde E. and Helen Roberts Morgan. She is survived by her son, Jamie League and his wife Jessica; daughter, Dinah Smith and her husband Jeff; sisters, Jeanie Morgan Shaw, Beth Morgan Wright and her husband Kevin and Gwen Morgan Greene and her husband Chris; grandchildren, Chandler and Drew Smith and Garrett League and Cody Shelton. Memorial service to celebrate Linda will be at Two O’clock the afternoon of Sunday, March 6, 2022 at Roselawn Funeral Home. Friends are cordially invited to visitation also Sunday, March 6, 2022 from Twelve Noon until the service begins at Two O’clock. Memorials be made to the Jesse C. Beesley Animal Foundation. Linda was retired form Middle Tennessee State University, where she was the longtime secretary for former Athletic Director Jimmy Earle and also secretary for the Chair of Excellence of Nursing.
