John "Jack" G. DuVall age 78, formerly of Hamilton, died Friday, January 2, 2015 at his residence in Springfield Township. He was born in Hamilton on July 3, 1936, the son of John A. and Eleanor L. (Donges) DuVall. He was a 1954 graduate of Ross High School and received his Associate Degree in Chemical Engineering from U.C. Jack was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force serving from December 1958 to May 1964. He married Evelyn Grammel on May 3, 1958. He had been employed as a technician at National Lead for seven years and 32 years for Proctor and Gamble, retiring in June 1994. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. He was a devoted Dad and Grandpa. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn; two daughters, Denise ( Steven) Lantis, West Chester and Donna (Douglas) Wolfe, Fairfield; a son, Douglas DuVall, Cincinnati; a sister, JoAnn (Larry) Webb, Monroe: seven grandchildren, Brad (Julie) Lantis, Julie (Alex) Duwel, Matthew (Rebecca) Lantis, Douglas (Lori) Wolfe, Valerie (Dan) Costello, Holly Wolfe and Heather Wolfe and five great grandchildren, Tyler and Kyle Lantis and Declan, Grace and Mikayla Costello.
